How everything started

The idea of XIX came up in 2007 by Lj Strat. After a long stay in LA, US the band released a demo in 08, and gave several live performances. Since then  the band went through constant line up changes till 2014 with its present form. After two years working together on original material, the band decided to follow a hiatus for personal reasons and until all members would be ready and committed to the band's vision.

Now, XIX is a five-member U.K. based Alternative Metal band with influences from Hard Rock and Alternative Metal music. Early 2019, this company of brothers (Vocalist Hercules Zotos, Guitarists Lj Strat, and C Dyne, Bass Guitarists & Vocalist  Taf and Drummer Tony Michaels), decided it was the right time to get together and begin building the XIX brand. As a full ensemble, the band is anchored on helping people find expression through their music.

XIX cracked on with releasing their debut single “Give Me Pain” on 26th of April 2019, as a forerunner for their album in the works.

Vision & Mission

With the music market almost monopolised by every other genre, XIX hope to bring to the forefront the combination of melodic riffs and heavy sound familiar to all Alternative Metal music lovers and help others truly understand and appreciate the depths of this genre of music and find expression through it.

We have chosen to work in this area because of the modernity of Alternative Metal when compared with Heavy Metal.

The main goal of the group is to help people find expression.

As Stephen King wrote in his book The Dark Tower, "This whole deal has gone nineteen.

"This was where we found inspiration to name our band — to express the diverse potentials synonymous with the number. As we move forward, we plan to create Alternative Metal music that stretches all age groups and genres and help the world find its pillar. We want to discover ourselves through the music we make, and we hope that our fans do the same. "

Some of our influences include Avenged Sevenfold, Guns N' Roses, Disturbed, Three Days Grace and many others from within our music genre. You can find us on Facebook, Spotify and Twitter.
